Privacy Policy

This privacy policy covers gaskellsolutions.com and the apps I build and operate — including GymBuds, Linewise, InPerson, Dopamine, and any future projects ("the Services").

The short version: I collect as little as possible, I don't sell anything, and I respect your privacy.

Information I Collect

Account information

Some of my apps let you create an account. When you do, I may collect your name, email address, and profile details you choose to provide. This is used to run your account and let the app work for you.

App usage data

My apps may collect basic usage data to keep things running — things like which features you use, crash reports, and performance data. This helps me fix bugs and improve the experience. I don't build advertising profiles or track you across other apps or sites.

Contact form submissions

If you use the contact form on gaskellsolutions.com, you provide your name, email, and message. This is sent through Formspree (a third-party form service) and used only to respond to you.

User-generated content

Some apps let you create content — workout posts, reading lists, events, meeting notes, etc. This content is stored to make the app work and is associated with your account.

How I Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

• Provide and operate the app or service you're using
• Respond to messages you send through the contact form
• Fix bugs and improve the apps
• Send important updates about the service (not marketing)

I don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own purposes.

Third-Party Services

My apps and this site may use third-party services to function. These include:

• Firebase — authentication, database, and hosting for some apps. See firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
• PostgreSQL hosting providers — database storage for some apps.
• Formspree — contact form handling. See formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
• Google Fonts — web fonts on gaskellsolutions.com. See policies.google.com/privacy.

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Data Retention

Account data and content you create is kept as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be deleted. Contact form submissions are kept only as long as needed to respond.

Your Rights

You can:

• Request a copy of your data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Update or correct your information within the app

Children's Privacy

My apps and this site are not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact me and I'll delete it.

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect your data — using encryption, secure authentication, and trusted infrastructure providers. No system is 100% secure, but I do my best.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, I'll notify users within the affected app when possible.
